Yelena Korpacheva is a Nursing Professional Development Specialist at Stanford Healthcare (SHC). Yelena was born in a small town of Kazakhstan. She pursued her dream to become a nurse and graduated from City College of San Francisco in 2014 with highest honors. She later obtained her BSN from San Francisco State University with honors. Yelena spent 6 years in-patient oncology/hematology departments in SHC growing from CNI to CNIV. She served as Assistant Patient Care Manager, Preceptor, Charge Nurse, Equity and Diversity Advocate, Wellness Champion, and Chemotherapy and Central Line Superuser. Yelena serves as a faculty for Watson Caring Science Institute. She is passionate about employee wellbeing, professional development, and quality of nursing care.
