Angelica Rincon, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CNOR

Angelica graduated with a bachelor’s in nursing from Saint Mary’s College of California and Samuel Merritt College’s intercollegiate program and then went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing, with an emphasis in health systems leadership from Gonzaga University. She is currently working towards her Doctor of Nursing Practice through Samuel Merritt University and anticipates graduating in the fall of 2025.
Angelica has 21 years of healthcare experience. She has worked in preoperative services, quality, and nursing administration across many organizations in the San Francisco Bay area. She joined Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center in 2015. This is where she first got to experience caring science as part of the nursing culture. Angelica currently serves in the role of Magnet Program Director at the Kaiser Permanente San Rafael Medical Center, where she supports enculturation, empowerment, and improving outcomes across nursing.
In her personal life, Angelica has served on the board of directors for a local non-profit that focuses on supporting children with disabilities and their family. She is passionate about advocating for equity and inclusion and facilitates an autism parent group that helps parents with navigating complex services, education, and healthcare.
