Description
The Webinar "The Science of Nursing Care: Advances and Challenges" is one of the most significant events in the field and will be promoted by the Watson Caring Science Institute Latino-Iberoamérica (WCSI-LIA). It is an event that brings together nurses, technicians, students in training from undergraduate and graduate courses, and professors from training institutions. It is a space for sharing knowledge, experiences, and debates that strengthen the field of nursing in the face of the international conjuncture.
The central theme will be: "The Advancement & Challenges Of Caring Science"
The area of nursing is experiencing a vital and peculiar moment in the scenario of science and technology. Nursing is a proper method for people who need comfort, well-being, attention, and relief. The historical trajectory of modern nursing, since its foundation in the 19th century, as a profession focused on the art of caring, shows the investment that has been undertaken, gradually and systematically, in the construction of a scientifically based practice because of the constitution of a field of science.
The events in this trajectory of nursing in the scientific field indicate how intellectual nurses in the area have been developing the science of nursing to achieve status in the scientific field.
Thus, it is believed that we are attempting to establish an epistemological statute that assures nursing the status of a science and care. Its object requires a systematic approach based on explanations and methodologies, mainly expressed in its theories, models of care, and care processes, so one can safely establish knowledge of the area and support its claims.
Watson Caring Science Institute Latino-Iberoamérica (WCSI-LIA) invites you to discover and honor all the vicissitudes of humanity and honor metaphysical phenomena such as the spirit, the sacred, love, consciousness, and care. Caring Science places nursing phenomena within the Unitary Transformative thinking paradigm. These shared phenomena now converge through various nursing theories. A few WCSI-LIA authors will be invited to the Webinar, creating a culture of care in what Jean Watson calls Communitas.
Although Caring Science began in academia, it is now practiced in all areas of nursing and other fields. In this Webinar, you will hear the experiences of leaders who have explored Caritas' awareness and knowledge of care, transforming their personal and professional lives. You will learn about the Caritas Coach Education Program® in Latin America and how nursing students have experienced the 10 Caritas Processes® and moments of transpersonal care.
Among the activities are significant conferences, roundtables, presentations of scientific works, the exhibition of professional experiences, book launches, and awards for scientific productions, among others.
Thus, we are waiting for you from September 22 to 23, 2022, in a virtual platform mainly designed to meet our event's needs. We, WCSI-LIA, are organizing this event with attention, care, reflection, and positioning on the challenges of our time and valuing the quality we traditionally offer to our professional field.
We await you in this scientific, political, cultural, technological, and transpersonal experience!
You will receive a Certificate of Completion. There are no Contact Hours awarded for this event.
