Dr. Jacqueline Fawcett-fix

Dear Hello,

We honor the loss of  Nurse meta theorist Jacqueline Fawcett – March 18, 1941 – March 22, 2026

"Dr. Jacqueline Fawcett’s transition is a great loss to the world and work on nursing science. As a meta theorist, she pioneered nursing theory, nursing knowledge and introduced thousands upon thousands of students and nursing scholars to meta- analysis; a timeless advocate for advancing Nursology and nursing’s  meta paradigm , She devoted her life to advancing nursing as a distinct mature discipline. Her life and her scholarship remans a living legacy!"  Jean Watson

"The role of nursing is clear. Our discipline, and therefore our profession, is focused on wholeness, well-being, humanization, consciousness, relationship, pattern, meaning and purpose, caring, healing, environments, and transcending. Nursing, as a caring-healing profession, provides a much-needed transforming presence in the world.”

Love and light, Jim, Rayne, Janet, and our entire scholars team!

Selection of 14 articles our Board Member Jim writes "NAQ Special Supplemental Issue is now online and ALL articles are open access for ease in downloading and sharing.  Virtually every article has a direct link to Caring Science, as you would expect. This is a landmark issue, other systems are clamoring to follow our lead, so we will see where it goes, but for now we have 14 new peer-review articles in print and available online for ALL."

We are so grateful for the partnership and ability to celebrate this with you all.
